New Building for Jesus House Fellowship

Jesus House Fellowship has begun meeting in a new building.

Begun just a year ago in a living room on Sunday afternoons, Jesus House Fellowship quickly ran out of room and began meeting in a renovated 3 car garage! Now the participants are rejoicing in the arrival of their new building. They purchased the former Choir room of Foley High School. The 28 X 50 building holds over 100 people. It is set up like many choir rooms with risers in a semi-circle. It gives the room a very comfortable intimate feeling.

The new building was used for the first time last weekend and everyone was impressed. There are still a few things that need to be done, but it is warm, well lit and useable. One member, Karen Manthie stated what many felt, "You could really feel the presence of the Lord in there today!"

Jesus House is a non-denominational, Spirit filled fellowship/church. It believes that everyone, not just the pastor and professional clergy can and should have a part in every gathering. People are encouraged to minister in song, a word, share a scripture, pray for each other, tell the group about what they are going through, both victories and difficulties. The praise and worship music is mostly contemporary. Guitars, drums, keyboards are some of the instruments used each week.

Jesus House also sponsors another cell church at the Key Row Apartments in Milaca. Many people there find it hard to get out and get to other church services.

John Ellison and Brad DeArmon pastor the new church. At this time there are about 25-35 people that meet there. You are invited to come and check it out!
