KATHIO STATE PARK-It can be mystifying skiing through the trails glowing in the dark, but what may be even more mystifying is that the candle light ski is all done with volunteers. It depends on people to set up the luminaries, light the candles, provide a shuttle, patrol, and cleanup.
The volunteers worked hard, but it was definitely worth their time. Over 300 visitors came to enjoy the ski.

You can also volunteer. Check your schedule for an open time, then check
with places you might want to
volunteer at. Schools, libraries, state parks, youth groups,
and many other places can use volunteers. You
always should check with them before you help. Volunteering not
only can help other people, but you can learn
new things, have fun, and have new experiences.
